All Reiki courses adhere to the National Occupational Standards for Reiki and are based on the Core Curriculum framework, developed by The Reiki Council.

A certificate and an instruction manual are issued at each level. Courses run on Tuesdays 10am – 4.30pm and are subject to booking.  All bookings require a non-refundable 50% deposit, to secure the dates.

First Degree

Intended for personal development and transformation, self-treatment and the treatment of friends and family.

Course content includes; a history of Reiki and Reiki principles, an introduction to meditation, self-care and self-treatment, basic protection and cleansing, and attunement.

2 day course with 4 hours post support and mentoring.

Second Degree Practitioner Level

Intended for personal development and transformation, self-treatment, the treatment of friends and family and a pre-requisite for Practitioner Level.

Course content includes; symbols, distant healing, Hatsu Rei Ho, anatomy and physiology, mental and emotional treatments, techniques and hand positions, code of ethics and the law and attunement.

A minimum of 3 months elapsed, since completing the First Degree.

2 day course with 6 hours post support and mentoring.

If you wish to carry out Reiki in a formal practice; charge a fee; or volunteer in a formal environment, such as a hospice or hospital; the Master Advanced Practitioner Level must be completed.

All professional Reiki Practitioners, must have received a minimum of 100 hours Reiki (through self-treatment or treatment from others) and must have carried out 75 Reiki treatments, 5 of which supervised by a qualified Reiki Master.

Third Degree A – Master Advanced Practitioner Level

Further development to qualify as a Professional Practitioner, but not for Teaching.

Course content includes; Master symbol, advanced techniques and intuition, setting up a practice and health & safety legislation and attunement.

A minimum of 6 months elapsed, since completing the Second Degree. Completion of 100 hours received Reiki and 75 treatments given, including distant healing.

2 day course with 6 hours post support and mentoring.

Third Degree B – Master Teacher Level

For Teachers of Reiki.

Course content includes; Master symbol, advanced techniques, how to attune others, course design and content, a review of all Reiki teaching and attunement.

A minimum of 12 months elapsed, since completing the First Degree.

30 hours apprenticeship and 6 months training and practice, before certificate issued.
