Rachel is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Mindfulness Coach, Reiki Therapist and Reiki Teacher; a full member of The Guild of Holistic Therapists and a Master Teacher Member of the UK Reiki Federation. Rachel’s qualifications include Practitioner Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, Diploma in Mindfulness and Mindfulness practice for Children and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in English Language and Literature.
Rachel provides Reiki, Mindfulness and Wellbeing sessions and provides bespoke treatments for children too, as detailed on Rachel’s ‘Little Worriers’ page.
Rachel also teaches Reiki and qualifies student’s in accordance with the National Occupational Standards for Reiki. Rachel’s courses are based on the Core Curriculum Framework, developed by The Reiki Council. Courses can be completed for self-development, to qualify as a Reiki Practitioner, or to Master Teacher level, to teach others the art of Reiki.
Inspired by personal experience, Rachel understands mental health and is passionate to remove the stigma and make support, accessible to everyone. Rachel suffered chronic anxiety, low self-esteem and depression, from a young age; suffering from ME and debilitating IBS. An Insurance Manager in London and after 16 years in the Insurance Industry; Rachel suffered a breakdown, which led to her discovery of Holistic Therapies, which went on to transform her life.
Rachel lives in Lincoln, England with husband Craig and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie.
